DevLog 5: Midterm Milestone


Last week, I spent a majority of my time thinking of ideas. I eventually came up with an idea I liked, but it was very late into the week when I did. All I had for last week was a super simple level. It had a player character that could move and a passenger character that looked at the player whenever he danced. What I’m going to try to finish this week is creating other passenger types, cutscenes that will play between levels, and the ability for the player to pick up and throw objects. I will also tune the passenger behavior so that it is more realistic. I feel like my game is still incomplete, but that is likely because I haven’t modeled anything yet. I don’t see myself needing help any time soon, so I probably won’t end up going to a help desk.
